May 14 - Civil War Living History Day, Wausau, WI sponsored by the 8th Wisconsin

May 28 - Prairie River Middle School Civil War Days hosted by the 8th Wisconsin

May 27- Menasha Middle School, 8th Grade Presentation by Bob Chabalowski of the 66th North Carolina

June 5 - "School of the Soldier" -  Wade House State Park,  The public is invited to participate in drills and live-firing Civil War era weapons. Watch a sanctioned ACWSA skirmish!

May 19 - Educational program at Wausau West High School (Hosted by the 8th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry)

 

May 23-24 - Southern Wisconsin School Groups(900 kids!) invited to American Family Building in Madison for living history and educational demonstrations. School Groups only on 23rd, public invited on 24th. (Hosted by the 2nd Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry)

 

May 24 - Memorial Day ceremony at Harshaw cemetery. (Hosted by the 8th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry)

 

May 25 - Live fire shooting at the range we plan to use for a 2004 shoot, details to come. (Hosted by the 8th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry)

 

May 26 - Memorial Day ceremony at the Rhinelander courthouse. (Hosted by the 8th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry)

 

May 26 - Memorial Day ceremony at 2:00 pm on Memorial Day at the church in Emerald Grove (small white country church on the South side of the road) -- located on Hwy 11/14 (about 45 minutes southwest of Milwaukee and 15 minutes east of Janesville).  "After, children and adults march to the cemetery to place flags and flowers on the veterans graves -- we have 90 buried there which is amazing considering that it is a small country cemetery...  after everyone returns to the church for ice cream and cake."  Please contact Pat Kaboskey (CWBULLETMAN@aol.com) and let him know if you are able to attend. Please arrive by 1:30 p.m. (Hosted by the ACWSA).
