Photo Contest

Thanks to everyone who submitted pictures for the ACWSA photo contest.  They're all winners and we appreciate you sharing them.  

First place, selected by membership vote, is this action shot by Roger Wisinger.  Roger receives a custom made ACWSA coffee mug for his picture.

Many action shots were submitted, but most had the skirmishers obscured inside the smoke cloud.  Roger snapped this shot while the wind was at their backs, clearly capturing their images yet still showing the dense cloud.  All that's missing here is the distinctive smell of black powder.

Second place goes to Stephen Sherry for this group photo of the Union troops who pitted their muskets against Pat Kaboskey's Gatling gun during  filming of a segment for the National Geographic Channel's "Machines of War" series.  This merry band of musket shooters placed second that day too, but in this contest their photo finished ahead of  Pat's Gatling gun pictures!  Stephen receives an ACWSA tee-shirt for his entry.
